Trump Signs Executive Order Securing Homes for Undocumented Immigrants
Trumps signs new executive order ensuring undocumented immigrants have homes.
President Donald J. Trump signed the executive order (Guaranteed Homes for UnDocumented Immigrants) late Thursday evening marking a paradigm shift in policy regarding illegal aliens — now referred to as undocumented immigrants.
Nicknamed GHUDI – this country-wide program will ensure undocumented immigrants never have to worry about where in the Unites States they will live.
For the pilot program, Los Angeles county has been awarded the first implementation. Numerous counties across the country submitted applications for this program, but the newly created GHUDI team selected Los Angeles County as the first county because of the overt support they have shown to undocumented immigrants through their “hide an alien in your house” program depicted in this story and associated video.
How the program works:
In our interview, John Warbleck, the Director of the GHUDI team told us, “We are very excited about the ability to provide free shelter to our undocumented immigrants in LA county and are truly appreciative of those American residents who are willing to relocate to support our new initiative.”
The pilot rollout will commence in March 2017 with the country-wide implementation taking place sometime in August 2017.
If you are a county who supports this initiative or an American who would like to forfeit their home to support this initiative, please complete an application for the GHUDI initiative.
